A free photo of sick me today - better than any generic that I could pull from the Internet that I would have to PAY FOR. |
Suffering from an extremely case of runny nose this morning. I suspect it is from some allergy I have.
Just two days ago I had another case of runny nose and congested sinuses.
Sick as I am I still have to perform my daily caregiving routine for Bill. This is tough to do with a nose that is running like a loose spigot.
I had to postpone my 11 AM appointment with my hematologist. This is a six month followup to my bone marrow test last year.
I'm falling apart folks. For sometime now I have had the dread that I'm going to checkout before Bill does.
Yesterday two representatives of the hospice care company visited to reevaluate Bill for continued hospice care. They also did a FaceTime call to a woman at their home base to interview Bill. They saw how weak Bill was and certified him for another sixty days.
I wonder where I'll be sixty days from now.
I also have a followup with my cardiologist in a couple of week. Next week I see my dermatologist. I have another suspicious spot on my collar bone which has been bothering me. I suspect it's probably another keratosis spot. I've been having them removed for over thirty years now.
Again, as always I think "It could be worse." But this is pretty f~cking bad folks. At least with death there is no more. No wonder they call it eternal rest. When I go folks I will have earned it. And as I have said many times I've had a good run. Eighty-one years on this earth relatively pain free with a body that's held up pretty good......until now.
Ironically last night I did get some relief watching my latest Netflix series "Dead To Me."
One of my blog followers (Victor) left a comment that he's looking forward to my reviews of all the new movies and series I'll be seeing on my streaming service. "Dead To Me" is pretty good, I must admit. I'm glad we have these different options for watching movies and series like HBO, Netflix, Showtime and others put out. I knew there had to be more options than blockbuster movies that mainly appealed to thirteen year old boys who eat up all the "Fast and Furious" films that make millions.
So how am I typing this blog while my nose is running? I just keep blowing my nose. It's raw now.
I'm going to wrap this edition of the Trials of Ron and check my online Scrabble games while I listen to DColor Music for shops in the background.
I don't think I will ever travel again like I have with Pat for the past seven years. I think those day are over.
The sun is out today. That is good.
By the way, I tried to pull a generic photo of a man with a runny nose off the Internet but that's not possible these days. Either the photo has a trademark or they want to pay money. I really didn't want to subject my loyal blog followers to a photo of the real me in this condition but I had no other choice.
