Yesterday while I was wasting my time at my computer, I had Pandora radio playing on my TV in the background. This selection came up. It is Duke Ellington at the legendary 1956 Newport Jazz Festival. The "song" is called "Diminuendo And Crescendo In Blue." It is over fifteen minutes long. Folks, I've never heard this before but let me tell you,I.WAS.BLOWN.AWAY. Man oh man. This is positively orgasmic. WOW! This beats Bolero any day.
Turn up your Bose speakers folks and ENJOY!
Now to figure out a way to add this to my iPod playlist. Of course I'll probably be the only one at the Bloggerpalooza who "gets this" but hey, I'm enjoying it so what? This beats rap any day.
